Communication Regarding KDOL Debit Card Account
Many individuals who received unemployment insurance benefits in 2019 received communication regarding the need to update information for their Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) debit card. The communication is a basic security measure taken by Bank of America, who manages the KDOL debit card program. The reason for the request was that KDOL received updated address information through the National Change of Address Database when preparing to mail 1099-G forms for 2019. All individuals who received unemployment insurance benefits in 2019 should receive a 1099-G form. If you did receive unemployment insurance benefits in 2019 and do not receive your 1099-G form from KDOL by February 2, 2020, please access your account at https://www.getkansasbenefits.gov and request a reprint of the form. For more information about the 1099-G visit the KDOL website at: https://www.getkansasbenefits.gov/FAQs/Form1099G.aspx.
